The Secret I Tell My Patients Who Want Hearing Aids (But Hate the Look)

I'm leaving the clinic now, but I had to film this because I'm tired of seeing my patients spend $4,000 on hearing aids with nothing left to protect the hearing they still have.

I've spent 15 years as a specialist — here is the truth about why I tell my clients to start protecting their hearing today.

The Problem With Hearing Aids

Before I recommend anything, I check everything. Almost every patient I see has been told the same thing: get hearing aids.

A hearing aid does not protect your ear from within.

• Many people hate the way it looks.
• It can cost $4,000 or more.
• It does nothing to protect the inside of your ear.

As a specialist, I knew a better plan had to start sooner. It had to protect the hearing you still have.

1. Why This Actually Works (The 'Shield' Effect)

The reason I recommend Hearwell to every client is because of the way it's built. It uses folic acid, B12, and B6.

Think of them as a shield for the inside of your ear.

Once you take them, they go to work where your ears need help. Tiny hair cells inside your ears turn sound into signals, and those cells depend on healthy blood flow. Folic acid helps support that blood flow, and B12 supports the nerve that carries sound to your brain. B6 helps your body use both of them.

The Clinical Results Speak for Themselves:

728 older adults were followed for 3 years. Folic acid, a form of folate, slowed the drop in low-pitch hearing.

2. Why I Tell Everyone: 'Get the 3-Pack'

When a client asks for just one bottle, I usually stop them.

Not because I'm trying to "sell" them, but because I want them to actually see the transformation. One bottle is a sample. Three bottles is a full 90-day routine.

Here's why the 3-Pack is the only way to go:

The 90-Day Rule: Your body takes months to build up these nutrients. If you run out of your first bottle after a few weeks, you're resetting the clock.

The "Never-Empty" Habit: To protect your hearing, you need it within reach. Keep one by the coffee maker, one by your pill box, and one in your travel bag. If it's not within reach, you won't take it—and consistency is the "secret sauce."

The Math: Why pay full price for one when you can get the full 90-day plan for a fraction of what a hearing aid costs?

3. The "Wait... You Heard That?" Moment

The best part about protecting your hearing isn't a number on a test. It's the table.

After a few weeks, some of my clients call me. They aren't calling with a problem. They're calling to tell me their family are asking if they "did something."

It's that easy, steady feeling of being right there in the conversation — not straining, not guessing. You catch the joke on the first try. You lean in, not away. You feel like you, just present.

The Final Verdict

You don't need to wait for hearing aids to start protecting your hearing. You just need to stop letting it wear down and start protecting it now.

I've seen it make a difference for hundreds of my patients.
